I plan and post an event for the week. Each event packs a creative flavor of cultural, social, and the most economical means of having fun. You decide whether you want to come along or not. Simple as that. What is the flavor of this week? Check out my posts!

REVIEW on MONTH 5: Wurstkuchen

Didn't make it to the Artwalk, but got to try out Werstkuchen! It is an amazing place! They had all sorts of different sausages. We tried the Rattlesnake Jalapeno and the Filipino Sausage, both with red peppers and grilled onions. We also ordered french fries. Yum! Their fries are up there with Frjtz fries! Gotta try it! And there's also a bar section which is reminiscent of a beer hall. Pretty flippin' sweet! After that we were on a quest to find a parking spot near Yogurtland. My first time at one of these self-servers, and I loved it! So much better than Pinkberry!

Overall fun night despite the face that it didn't include art. (Though we spent a while analyzing Yogurtland's awful logo.)

Month 5: ArtWalk LA

I've heard some good things about ArtWalk in Downtown LA. So let's view some local art and follow it up with a drink at a nearby bar. Let's meet up at Cole's, and then we'll figure out where we wanna get drinks - the Varnish, perhaps.

WHAT: ArtWalk
WHEN: Thursday, May 14th from 12:00pm to 9:00pm (Let's meet at 7pm! Drinks to follow!)
WHERE: Downtown LA - Let's meet at Cole's and walk over together:
Cole’s French Dip
118 E. 6th
Los Angeles

For more info on the event: http://downtownartwalk.com/

Info from their website:
"The Downtown Art Walk is a self-guided tour that showcases the many art exhibition venues in Downtown Los Angeles — commercial art galleries, museums, and non-profit arts venues."

Hope to see you there. Drinks for struggling artists!!!

FLAVOR of WEEK 18

So this past week we found out that NHK no longer has a 3rd season pickup like they had told us we did 5 months ago. This annoys me on various levels. A major one is that I could have been applying elsewhere, especially since I heard that the Cleveland Show just hired 3 timers 2 months ago. Now I have no idea what I'm going to be doing with myself for the rest of the year. It's pretty nerve-wracking, as I'm sure you can imagine.

But this was my week pre and post the news.

Monday
- I actually found a condo in Hollywood which I really like. Funny thing is it's right across the street from a couple friends of mine. Wierd!
- Milt Kahl Tribute at the Academy (Wanted to try Cowboys and Turbans but it was closed so we ate a more traditional Indian meal across the street)

Tuesday
- Lunch with Mary Harrington - she's awesome! We gotta do it again!

Wednesday
- WriteAct Company Meeting

Thursday
- Lunch with Jan Nagel
- Returned and heard the news upon my pursuit of planning our Australia trip. Ended up at Barney's Beanery with the rest of the NHK crew. We're all lost souls wandering around.
- "Ghosts" at a Noise Within

Friday
- Video game challenge at Nick - Wiis, PS3s, and XBox360s all week long! (I lost first round of the tennis tournament)

Saturday
- Free Pilates Day!
- Volunteered for FOH for M4M - go see it!
