My reviews for recipes:
ONION RINGS:
Better than the ones you get at restaurants.
CHILI:
Yummy and spicy, a perfect topping on the hot dog
IRISH BEEF STEW:
Should have made this in the crock pot so the meat could tenderize, but overall pretty good and thick.
BACON-WRAPPED HOT DOGS:
Fry the bacon half-way in a pan since they take longer to cook than hot dog. Wrap the hot dogs and secure with a tooth pick. Bake at 400 F for 20 minutes.
CHOCOLATE SILK PIE:
A favorite amongst guests! Smooth, creamy, rich, and decadent!
LEMON MERINGUE:
Delicious! Whipping the eggs into stiff peaks was hard the first time, so just remember these tips:
1. Use room temperature eggs and a glass bowl NOT a plastic bowl
2. When cracking the eggs, be sure not to get any of the yolk.
3. Before whipping, add 1 tsp. salt
