FLAVOR of WEEK 37


Monday (Labor Day)
- Kayaking from Ipswitch to Essex (4 exhausting hours)
- Dinner at the Winthrops' Beach House





Tuesday
- Russell Orchards
- Sailed to Rockport and docked for the night


Wednesday
- Sailed back to Manchester
- Red Sox vs. Orioles game in Boston (steaktips, french fries, italian sausage, Sam Adams) - Red Sox won!





Thursday
- Walking tour in Boston (Freedom Trail - history, architecture, cemeteries)
- Lobster Roll for Lunch
- Sam Adams Brewing Tour (sampled 5 beers!)
- Steak and Lobster dinner at Myopia






Friday
- Farm - veggies, flowers, cows
- Fishing
- Cooking dinner for family (french fries, bruschetta, squash and zucchini, haddick fish, chicken, and apple pie!!!)






Saturday
- Flew from Logan Boston to O-Hare Chicago.
- Signature Room at the Hancock
- Lincoln Park Zoo
- Naperville - ice cream and Connect 4
- Wrigleyville - improv at IO, drinking and dancing at Sluggerz.




Sunday
- Downtown Naperville (Lunch at Lou Maggilano's, Riverwalk)
- Oak Park - Frank Lloyd Wright's Home and Studio, walking tour of the gorgeous neighborhood
- Chinatown in Chicago
