Week 13: March 29th - A Taste of Dance - One Dollar Dance Lessons


The Music Center is celebrating LA's Dance Culture by inviting us to participate in a Day of Dance. Sample dances from various cultures of the world for only $1 per 20 minute session.

WHEN: Saturday, March 29, 2008; 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM
WHERE: Music Center Plaza
ADMISSION: $1 per 20-minute lesson
First come, first served.
Tickets available for purchase starting at 10:30AM (cash only).

11:00AM to 11:20AM 80's Warm-Up
11:30AM to1:30PM 20-minute dance lessons:

* Bachata
* Kahiko
* Korean Fan Dance
* Music Video Choreography
* Scandinavian Dance

1:30PM - 3:30PM 20-minute dance lessons:

* Congolese
* Pop & Lock
* Tinikling
* Viennese Waltz
* Zapateado

3:30PM to 4:15PM Caribbean

No prior dance experience necessary.
Limited class sizes, dress in comfortable clothes/shoes, some classes are danced barefoot.
